Parties responsible for the digging of graves must contact the cemetery chairperson or assistant before any grave is dug. |
||
| 2. | All graves will be located in an area designated by the chairperson | ||
| 3. |
Debris (rocks, excess gravel, etc.) remaining after a grave has been covered in, must be removed and deposited in an area away from the cemetery within a reasonable period of time. |
||
| 4. |
All graves in the finished stage are to be at the level of the surrounding area |
||
| 5. |
No enclosures (e.g. concrete, wood, wire) are to be erected around graves. Also, families are encouraged to remove existing enclosures so that the entire area may eventually become a lawn type cemetery. |
NOTE:
While the Church is responsible for the maintenance of the
cemetery itself, the care and maintenance of graves is the
responsibility of the family of the deceased.
